Kingsdale is a lovely, vibrant class of 24 Year 1 pupils. They are taught by Mrs Pickard and the teaching assistant is Mrs Duffin.
In Year 1, we are building on the foundations we learnt in the Foundation Stage. We gain confidence in reading, marvel at our ever improving writing and sparkle as our Maths skills and fluency develop…. but more so we have FUN! We still do lots of our learning through play.

HOMEWORK
Our homework is to read at least three times per week. We read our phonics book in school and send it home to be practiced. We also choose a book from our class library to take home and share with our family.
